“Naad” is a music group formed by a diverse set of individuals, driven by a common passion and love for music. We are presently 10 in number with 4 vocalists and 5 instrumentalists. A majority of “Naad” consists of software professionals who have pursued music as a hobby over the years. We also take pride in the fact that, as part of the group, we have an extremely talented pair of visually impaired students who juggle between pursuing their studies and performing music professionally. “Naad” also believes in supporting social causes through their music, whenever an opportunity comes by.
We, in “Naad”, excel in performing songs across a wide variety of genres (Film, light, folk, ghazals, bhajans) and across a wide variety of languages (Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil). Apart from performing covers of popular artists/compositions, we also perform our own compositions. “Naad” has given many popular and successful shows in Bangalore and is aspiring to make a mark in the field of music across the country as a talented and versatile music troupe, in the coming days.
